Abijah Bigelow was the brother of Jacob Bigelow, who was the "manager" of the Underground Railroad in Washington, DC, from about 1850 to 1858. They were both involved in an abolitionist church in La Porte County, Indiana. Jacob moved to DC in 1843; Abijah moved to Walnut Hills (Cincinnati), Ohio, not long after. Any details would be appreciated. Jacob was my great, great grandfather.
