We are trying to clarify the profiles of several people: Jacob Culp (Culp-1177), who married Mary Lamb (no apparent Wikitree profile for her). Jacob had a sister, Mary Culp, who married Mary Lamb's brother, Jacob Lamb (Lamb-7690). Both women also apparently have "Magdalena" or some form of that name as part of their given names. Jacob Culp's sister Mary seems to be the one with the DOB in Mary Lamb's profile (1 Dec 1787). This is verified in a couple of sources about her son, Peter Lamb. We can't find a definitive source for the DOB of Mary Lamb, who married Jacob Culp. An unsourced Ancestry family tree shows that it is 22 Aug 1788. Assistance and advice would be most welcome. The profile manager and I have corresponded a bit about this and would be glad to hear what others might know. Thank you!

Several people have been mingled here. The person identified in this record is actually Magdalena Mary Culp, whose parents are Henry Culp and Dorothy (Unknown) Culp. She married a man named Jacob Lamb (Lamb-7690). Meanwhile, she has a brother named Jacob Culp, shown here as her husband, Culp-1177, who married a woman named Mary Lamb (22 Aug 1788–16 Aug 1856), for whom there does not appear to be a Wikitree profile. I do not feel qualified to untangle all of this, but it needs to be done. Thanks.
