I have added the Hopkins/Snow Mayflower line to my WikiTree in error. I would like to remove those entries from MyTree as they are not my ancestors.

Please advice me how I can make those corrections.

Thank you,

Christine Rosset

I see that Sarah (Snow) Walker maps out as a direct ancestor of yours. I infer that you think there is a mistake in the genealogy that connects you to her. Where is this mistake?
The parents of the John Walker in My WikiTree are not correct. That set of parents and remaining line need to be removed.
Is John Walker's spouse, Elizabeth Woodbury correct?
Yes, John Walker married Elizabeth Woodbury 12 Mar 1678/9 in Beverly, MA. I have not been successful in identifying the parents of this John Walker.
There are currently 2 profiles for Elizabeth Woodbury - they need to be merged.  Thank you!

Hello Christine

Thank you for your comment and for recognizing that "your" John Walker could not have been Sarah (Snow) Walker's son as it is well documented that Sarah's John Walker died in an Indian raid when he was a young man and still unmarried and without children.

I have disconnected Sarah (Snow) Walker as the mother for Walker-47463.   As you already disconnected William Walker as the father there is nothing more you should do to "disconnect" your line coming down from Walker-47463 from the Mayflower Snow/Walker line.

I see you added comments on Nicholas Snow-4, Constance Hopkins-5 and her mother Mary Kent-2113.  PLEASE delete those comments as they will only confuse other researcher/members.  Whenever there is a mistake made about a lineage ONLY correct the "link" person by removing his/her wrong parents (and then hopefully correcting with the right parents when you find them!).  All the generations before the "mistaken link" do NOT need to be changed.

Thank you for your contributions to our One World Tree.  If you have any other questions about this link/lineage, please do not hesitate to ask either the Mayflower Project or send me a private message.
