Trying to add father and I'm putting in a death year but keep getting error message that he's a living person

Did you put an email address in?  That will make the system think he is still living.

Yes!  I had put in an email address as it was asked for.  The Wikitree system in building trees seems a bit clunky.  Hopefully I'll get used to it with practice.  Thank you!

You don't use the email address unless that person is going to be a member of wikitree, so for ancestors, etc, it is left blank.

You might have accidentally clicked on the ‘still living’ button.

I don't see a "still living" button.  I've given him a death year and clicked on "estimated/unceartain but non-living"

Any thoughts?
