Question

Since the GRO doesn't provide much details, I'm trying to find out more on Henry Stevenson (? - ?) his spouse Julie Allart (1841-1880) and their children :
Mary Stevenson : 1874, London - 1917 Paris
Emily Stevenson : 1876 Marden, Kent - 1955 Paris
Henry Stevenson : 1878 Marden, Kent - ?, Canada.
I hope you can help me out !

Search for them on FamilySearch, and you might find them on the censuses, which will give you occupations, and all sorts.

Thank you very much for your advice. However the name Henry Stevenson is a VERY common one, and since the year of birth for Henry Stevenson Sr was not stated on the marriage certificate I ordered from the GRO office, I cannot find anything on the various census. Please advise... again !

Thank you for your suggestion. Dominique Leleu is indeed related to me.
The problem is : the English birth certificates delivered by the GRO, unlike the French ones, provide very little info. How is it possible to get beyond that?

D'ailleurs je ne sais même pas je viens d'apprendre ce que signifie GRO, et je crois que je n'ai jamais vu un acte de naissance anglais. Mais je peux apprendre.
