Hi Sylvie,

To take part in events and challenges, you simply select the post here on G2G that you are interested in.  Then you can read through the qualifications, etc. and if still interested, you simply select the "Answer" button (not the "Comment" button) and post a response that you are interested in taking part.  An event/challenge coordinator (or someone) will follow-up with you.

A great place to start is the monthly sourcers challenge.

Each of the Data Doctors challenges are also a good introduction, after you have first addressed any suggestions found under your My WikiTree menu.
