I have seen this numerous times, although in a different place and time (in Mexico after the start of civil registration after the late 1850s). Some people had both church and civil marriages, occasionally the civil marriages were years after the church marriages.

Is it possible that they married, divorced and then remarried? That would explain why you can find two different marriage dates - because there were 2 marriages.

I don't know how it works in Germany, but in England there is no official resource for divorces.

Those aren't primary source records.  The first one actually points to his Wikitree profile.  The second one is just someone's MyHeritage family tree.  Both may just be guesses for a marriage date.  A better source is needed.  If you Google "Vistula Delta, Mennonite records", you may find some leads to pertinent records.
