Need help with Devon, England, parish register abbreviations

Question

In an entry for the death of one Susannah Miller, daughter of Ellize Miller, 7 December 1614, there is a list of names with abbreviations after them that are not explained in the transcription (The Registers of Baptisms, Marriages and Burials of the Parish of Branscombe, Devon), There is no explanation in the introduction,

William Shaw, C. (clerk maybe?)
Ellys Bartlett and John Smyth, Ws (wardens maybe?)
William Gy and John Lacey, Sa. (I have no idea)

There is a similar set of names and abbreviations in only one other death entry.

Any help here? Thanks!

In this transcript of the register it looks more like Sn and I think the abbreviations are C - Curate, Ws - Churchwardens, and Sn - probably Sidesmen (an assistant to a warden).

You often seen a list like that at the end of a year (though in 1614 the year would end in March of the following year).

Yes there is a list of abbreviations and it does agree with above (I promise I didn't look at the abbreviations first)

C could be chaplain, Ws could be Witnesses. Still no idea about Sa.

C could be for Curate ?

C is usually found in the context of R = rector and V = vicar, so C = curate
