did I do the Spanish American War sticker correctly

profile Reed-23973 this is the profile that I placed my frist Spanish American War sticker on and I would like to know if I did it correctly and if I did not do it correctly could you tell me in simple terms what I did wrong? lol

Using the category builder in the icons above the Biography text area, entering Spanish American, Tennessee shows 1st Regiment, Tennessee, Spanish American War, which is shown on his gravestone. If you select that category entry, you could copy the category and enter it after unit= in the template, also, because that will convert to the category.  Then, you can remove what was retrieved using the category builder.  I do that to get the correct wording.

The information about him serving should also be in the biography, not just in the sticker, since it is part of his story. It doesn't look like you have the headstone image in the sources, although you have attached an image.

I also have it in his bio. I can not believe it took me three times to say all this. I must stop working on profiles now my eyes are burning and it took me three messages to say "Yes, he has a stone and I have the photo on the profile, I also have his service mentioned in his bio I do that for all the military I work on. Just wanted to makes sure I used the Spanish War sticker correctly since it was my first attempt at using it. Thank you so much for the input.

The bio should have everything that is in the sticker mentioned in the biography, such as the regiment, dates, etc. The sticker is to bring some attention to the profile.

They have recently created the 1776 Sticker which only has rank and unit in it. Most profiles with the previous 1776 'sticker' have dates, units, etc only in the sticker which now has to be added to the profiles, before it is changed to the 1776 Sticker.  I know there was some discussion that they could be changing other military stickers to make them simpler.
