Can anyone help with formatting a link in the bio?

I have added a link to the bio but it doesn't wrap properly.  I have other examples that are much worse than this one and stretch across the whole page.  Is there anyway to format it so it wraps and remains in the first column?

I don't think there's a way of displaying a raw URL so that it wraps nicely.

Displaying it with wiki markup, eg. [http://www.google.ca Google], is generally the best option.

Veronica,

I just tried, but it didn't work.  I understand why it's happening - normally, you could fix a wrapping problem easily by putting a space or a line break but you can't split up a link that way or it will break.

What I tried to do was wrap the link in a table and define the width of the table in order to force the link to wrap without breaking.  It did not work, though, so I removed that code.

Sorry I couldn't come up with a solution - I'll be watching to see how it finally does get solved.

I just tried it on another profile and it has worked!  Thanks for your help.

Mary,

I did an edit.  I left the old as well as the new.  That way you can see how it is done.   You can look at and delete the old.  (This is exactly what Lianne suggested, I just did it so you can see.)

Oh YESSSSSSS!!!!

Way to go, Philip!!!!!
Thanks Phillip.  I think I will leave the link alone as it might help others.  I have tried it on another profile and it works.
