Pretty sure we're cousins somewhere - just haven't made the connection yet. We must be, as often as we're working on the same profiles! Malcolm's collaboration and contributions are much welcomed on the early Virginia settlers we seem to share.

Thanks Malcolm!!

Yes, I've really been appreciating that Malcolm is pointing out areas where we can collectively improve the quality of US Southern Colonies profiles. Thank you, Malcolm!

Thank you so much Liz and Jillaine, it is really appreciated,  I am sure that we could be related somewhere along the line, William Foster jnr (Virginia project leader), is my 9th cousin through the Munday family, his grandmother was a Munday, whose father was Claudius Knight Mundy/Hoare. We now have about 26 descendants of various American families in our group whose yDNA matches mine exactly, some at over 700 markers, so lots of NPE's going on in those early Colonial years. Some of the surnames with matching yDNA are various Mundy/Munday/Monday lines originating from Caroline, Cox of Halifax, Boren, Monroe families of Stafford, Hore of Stafford, Hord/Hoard of Caroline, Chambers of Halifax, and Elliston of Stafford, VA. I am sure with the help of DNA that we could be in for a lot more surprises. We have just moved from the West Midlands to Falmouth in Cornwall last week so lots of unpacking still to do, but will help improve the quality of some of the US Southern Colonies profiles as much as possible. Again many thanks for the kind words.
