Abiathar R. Barrett is the son of Thomas Augustus Barrett and Sarah Lenora Miller. He enlisted in the civil war and was killed in battle at the age of 22. We need more sources in his civil war service and genealogy. Does he have a gravestone? A pension?

Any help is appreciated

Thank you

Note: I believe he was killed in battle May 31, 1862 in Fair Oaks, Fairfax, Virginia.

See The Battle of Seven Pines - May 31, 1862 shows the position of the 92nd N.Y

Wikipedia

It appears the mother Sarah Barrett drew his pension need source link

Ancestry search shows two finds: US Civil War Pension Index (poor quality but lists his parent's names) and NY, Register of Officers and Enlisted Men (he's on the first line and shows the company he's with when he died in Fair Oaks but no death date)

Check nps.gov soldiers database. I see an Abiatha Barrett from NY in there. Good luck
