When Unknown Steeves gets replaced, can the profile be recycled somehow?

This profile used to be the 'father' of Steeves-990, Steeves-992 and Steeves-994. Now that those three profiles are attached to their pre-existing actual father, i don't know what to do with this profile. Can it be recycled?  Should i have set up a merge instead of moving the daughters over to their real father?

Shirlea,  These were all my profiles.  I merged 991 into 876 as it should have been.  There is a mechanism to reuse empty profiles should in some cases.

I did a similar thing to another profile last week.  I couldn't at first figure out where the Unknown one went when the right parental link was established.  I'll try to find it.

I can't find it.  I didn't edit the profile itself, so it doesn't appear in my contribution list. Neither does it seem to be in the alphabetical list of all the Steeves.  There are some Unknown Steeves there, but none that could have been the one i was thinking of.  Maybe it was just Unknown as LNAB, not Unknown Steeves

It probably should've been merged into the father's pre-existing profile. Could it be recycled for another member of this family who doesn't yet have a Wikitree profile?
