So many James Turners! This one may be James William Turner (not certain). B ?   d: Wayne County Ill. Married Charity Freeman Jennings. Father of James Turner, 1811 - 1855.

tough too find James ,parents, his death record has born in England. His full name may be James William Israel Turner

Yes - I am hoping someone can help. Where did you find his official death record? I have not seen. (I do not trust Find a Grave, it has been wrong a number of times). Please help if you can. Also  - what makes you think he would have four names - was that common at the time? I realize he has a son named Israel - but where is this name coming from?
Please Wayne Morgan - please let me know where you found the official death record for James Turner. It would be so appreciated.

Yes; thankyou. I have the marriage date. But various sources guess he was also from Kentucky, some say Virginia and others say England. I am hoping to find some evidence of place of birth.
Please note that Kentucky was a part of Virginia until 1795.
