Queensland BMD, death 30 Mar 1917, 1917/C/1791 John Donovan.  Parents John Donovan and Margaret Hogan.

Edit to add:  This is apparently incorrect, since Victoria BDM has a birth record for John's wife Mary Crowe.  Her mother was Margaret Hogan.

If it is the correct John Donovan, it is possible the informant was someone who didn't know the correct data.

I would want to be sure that this John Donovan actually was in Queensland.

Anna, are you using Y-DNA to try and do this?  Please be more specific as to what you are trying to do to locate John's parents.  If this isn't related to DNA, then you don't want to use those tags.
