New member introducing myself

Hello everyone, just a new member here looking forward to learning new things and finding out more about the where and who I came from.  Hopefully an exciting adventure into the past! The last names I am related to include Krizek, Abbott, Mosley, Childers so I believe I will start with these lol.  Good luck to everyone and thank you all again for this site and adventure.

surnamedb.com has historical information on the Abbott, Mosley and Childers surnames. You can look them up at surnamedb.com if you like.

familysearch.org has the Krizek surname in Mesto, Slovakia in the late 1600's. surnamedb.com is another free site.

If you have birth information on your grandparents and at least some of your great parents, you may want to start a tree of your ancestors at WikiTree.

Don't be reluctant to ask questions.

Hello and welcome. Do you know if your Mosley relatives happen to be from Massachusetts?

No the only one's I have are from Georgia and South Carolina so far.

Good luck in your search for these families. I think that you will find that other people have added many profiles of people who are related to you. In my case, three of my sets of great-great-grand grandparents had already been entered on WikiTree and so I just had to add their descendants. Within a very short period of time, I was connected to WikiTree's Tree. Because of the work of WikiTree volunteers, I am able to go back 15 generations or more.

Thank you ma'am, I am still trying to find some things and add the things I know.  Also, I hope I did it right because I can see my tree that I have started and have the mothers side back as far as I know of for now but not sure how it all works yet and still trying to figure everything out lol.

I can see you've been working on it :) Just make sure that if someone has already added your ancestor, that you connect your tree to that person rather than creating a duplicate person. You may already know that, but it's a mistake I see a lot of newcomers make. If you need any help, feel free to reach out to me via private message. I'll be happy to help where I can.
