How to adopt a non-public profile

A member of my family (great uncle - deceased) had a profile created back in 2014 that has no profile manager. When I click to adopt the profile, it is not allowed due to a website error message that states it is not a public profile. How or who do I contact to adopt or access/edit this profile?

send an email to info  @wikitree.com explaining the situation and your relationship, so they can update it with date and / or make you the PM.
