Kimberly,  On WikiTree you don't actually enter your DNA data--you enter the information about which DNA tests you've taken.  On the profile for the person who took the DNA test, 'hover' your cursor over the word 'Add' at the top right of the page, and select 'DNA Test Information'.  That will take you to a page where you can indicate which DNA tests were taken.  The information will appear on the profiles of the relatives of the person tested a day later.

Be sure to set the privacy level on the profile as 'Private with Public Family Tree' or less restrictive.

Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to WikiTree!

I'm not an expert on the DNA transfer, but what I did was go into my ancestry DNA and on the main DNA screen click on Settings. Off to the right of that screen is a box with Actions in it and one of them is "Download our raw DNA data".

Download the zip file, and then upload it here.

Once you have your ancestry zipped raw data file (do not unzip it), you can then upload it to an account (register first) at gedmatch.com for more matches and analysis tools.

You do not upload the raw data to Wiki - you just enter the test taken and your Gedmatch.com number after you upload it to the gedmatch.com site

Kimberly,

You can also transfer your Ancestry results to FamilyTreeDNA.com for free to find matches on their site.

The "free" transfer from AncestryDNA to Family Tree DNA's Family Finder has limitations.  See http://dna-explained.com/2014/10/19/family-tree-dna-announces-free-autosomal-transfer-from-23andme-and-ancestry/

A proper transfer to Family Finder costs $39.

And right now (as of Sept 16, 2016, Family Tree DNA states: "Please note that AncestryDNA™ has recently changed their file format. The updated version is currently not compatible with our transfer program, however we are working on accepting the newest version in the very near future."
