John Sterling Nelson abt.1795-1855

Question

I am looking for information about the parents of John Sterling Nelson. Born about 1795 in North Carolina and died about 1855 in Fannin, Georgia. He was married to Nancy Butler about 1795-1860. Have been told it is William Nelson and Lucrese but I can find no information on them.

Nelson,mother Francis Farmer.See any evidence she may have.

1860 Census no wife there, did he re marrie.

Yes I have seen Emanuel Nelson and Francis Farmer, but not sure it is correct and can find no evidence. What area are you talking about for the 1860 census? Also, not sure how to access Tracy Hisks tree on Ancestry as I am not a member.
