How do I import my gedcom individuals, after reviewing them, into my tree?

I imported a gedcom file and reviewed all individuals.  How do I import that information into my family tree?

After reviewing your kind responses to me, and following all advice as best I can, I have decided that I will delete my gedcom and not ever use one.  I was looking for any easy way to "seed" my tree by pulling over from family search, and the gedcom seemed like it would bring it over easily.  I understand now that a person by person review is required regardless of how it is imported, and there are better tools available to facilitate this, while accomplishing the goal of accuracy and avoiding redundancy.

Hi Frank and Welcome to the Tree.

If you have gone through all of the Suggested Matches and Rejected or Matched there, an ADD button should appear on the line of each name that had no Suggested Match.  Clicking that will permit you to add these names to WIkiTree.

On those you had Suggested Matches that you Accepted.  You click on the Compare Button again and then the Edit Button on the next page.  A word of caution here on Matched Suggestions. I strongly urge that you do not Merge any of these through GEDCOMpare until you are familair with Sourcing and Formatting of Biographies. If you only have one ot two data points to add to the Existing Biography, it is easier to add those to that Profile Manually.  Merging your data to an Existing Biography can sometimes be a bit messy. Also, it is a courtesy to Private Message the Profile Manager of that Profile of your intentions and work with them.
