information about john astin born 1822 baxenden lancashire died 1893

his wife was mary cromshaw  born 1820 place unknown died 1863.

any info on johns family or marys family would be great as i would like to see how far i can get back.

John Asting & Mary Cronkshaw were married 11th April 1852 at Accrington St. James. Registered Jun Qtr 1852 Haslingden 8e 123. Copy of register image on Ancestry. On the marriage certificate, Mary's father was listed as "George Cronkshaw" & in the space for John's father it has "Ellen Asting (Mother's Name)." 

John was born 2nd July & baptised 18 Aug 1822 at Accrington St. James, son of Ellen ASTIN, Weaver, of Lane Ends. Image at Ancestry.

In 1861 the family was living in New Accrington, Lancashire https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M7LJ-6Y7 ; also living at the same address were https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M7LJ-6YZ.
