First-hand information. Entered by Allen Warner at registration.
Note: the DNA connections on my tree are based on copious information found on multiple websites. Wikitree says I should validate them by adding profiles for people who match me on those sites, which I consider to be a gross violation of privacy. They say I should take them down if I will not do that, but I prefer to leave them up and point out that there is no requirement for sourcing any other kind of information posted to the site. If requested, I am willing to provide information about my DNA connections to a specific ancestor with screenshots from DNA sites with all personal information blacked out. I look forward to the day when DNA evidence is no longer held to a higher standard of proof than other kinds of genealogical evidence.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Allen or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Allen Warner:
Family Tree DNA Y-DNA Test 67 markers, haplogroup R-M269, FTDNA kit #B31487
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Allen:
Allen, I’m not sure if you’re still active in here, but I know we talked before about our great-great grandparents. My dad has told me that the family came late on the Oregon trail. I don’t remember if we talked about that when we talked before and I can’t find our old emails. Do you know anything about their trip west?
I don't come here much, but occasionally I will notice a notification that I got a message. I have the PDF of the transcribed letters. If you email me at [email address removed] I will send it to you. Everything I know about the trip comes from that.
A few of the letters mention my great-aunt Stella, who was born in Kansas. She was a toddler when her family moved to Oregon. I knew her. Or at least I met her. She died around 1989. I think she was 101.
I sent you a check-in message several days ago about the 1776 Project to ask you about your past and continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?
If I don’t hear from you in a week or so, I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things, but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.
We're doing our semi-annual check-in to ask whether you have made contributions to the project in the last six months?
Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the 1776 Project that you respond to this check-in. Please post your response as a reply to this message on your page, for convenience of record keeping.
I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.
If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
If we don't hear back from you we will assume that you no longer wish to participate in the project and if so, you could rejoin at any time as is convenient for you.
I see that you've marked the relationship of many of your ancestors to their parents 'confirmed with DNA'. There's a statement required to be entered in each child's biography explaining how you used DNA to confirm the parental relationship(s). It's all explained here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/DNA_Confirmation
Please add a statement for each child whose parents you have marked 'confirmed with DNA'. Thanks!
Please let me know if I can help.

Please make sure each bit of DNA test information is added to the actual test participant's profile, not someone else's like your own. To make cousin connections, WikiTree needs to see the FamilyTree tab. Check that your Privacy on your profile is set to "Private with Public Family Tree" as a minimum. (Living minors should have an Unlisted privacy level.)
As you add your family lines and connect to the big WikiTree, you may find new cousins. Use the Relationship calculator to see if you are related to me, Cooper-1 with http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Relationship
There are category links to add to your ancestor's profiles and research links to learn more about your family. The Project is a good way to consolidate the WikiTree ancestors with historic connections to the years of 1773 (Boston Tea Party) to 1789 (ratification of the U.S. Constitution.) All patriot, loyalist, Hessians, French, Native Americans or any other profiles with a connection to these years should be linked to an appropriate category in the Project.
If you havent already, please set your preferences for your Tags Followed to include 1776 Project and any other tag terms that you wish to follow: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following
Some categories have a template (SAR) to add at the top of a biography. If not, add a category link by putting the category name such as Template:1776 for those who bore arms in the Revolution and Template:1776 for those who contributed patriotic or civil service. Thank you.

This profile has a database error (DBE#774) in the way that the last name at birth has been formatted.
Could you please either correct the name or add me to the trusted list and I'll fix it.
Thank you

Thanks for finding those Vital Records for Thomas Wilmarth: Those sources both have free space pages so I add the links from their page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Vital_Record_of_Rehoboth%2C_1642-1896 https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Vital_Records_of_Attleborough%2C_Massachusetts_to_the_End_of_the_Year_1849 Pat
