Biography

Thomas Wilmarth. son of Thomas Wilmarth (abt.1651-bef.1690) and Mary (Robinson) Carter (1652-), was born March 8, 1685/6 in Rehoboth, then part of Plymouth Colony.[1]

Indexed marriage records date his marriage to Deborah (Peck) Wilmarth (1687-1737) during 1712. However, their first known child, Mary (Wilmarth) Claflin (abt.1709-bef.1785) was born September 27, 1709. Mary's birth record lists her parents as Thomas Wilmarth and his wife, Deborah Peck. Both parents were about 18 at Mary's birth. It is likely that her parents married about 1709,

Thomas died May 23, 1759 in Attleborough, Massachusetts.[2]

I also removed the research notes section - it was superfluous to include since the references stated the same information.
