Biography

1776 Project
Michael Umberger performed Patriotic Service in Pennsylvania in the American Revolution.
Daughters of the American Revolution
Michael Umberger is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A117842.
Michael emigrated from Germany to Pennsylvania, USA with his family in 1733. He married Anna Marie Rammler in 1742 in Pennsylvania (records in 3 different counties). Three of their sons, John, Philip and Henry later migrated to Wythe County, Virginia in 1780. [1]He deeded 82 acres to the Calvinist Congregation to build a church known as Hill Church.

Umberger-71 and Umberger-169 appear to represent the same person because: Given the names, DOB, DOD as well as the places of birth and death match it would appear that these two profiles represent the same individual. They also indicate the same spousal information which further indicates these profiles represent the same ancestor.
