Biography

1776 Project
Michael Umberger performed Patriotic Service in Pennsylvania in the American Revolution.

Michael Umberger is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A117842.
Michael emigrated from Germany to Pennsylvania, USA with his family in 1733. He married Anna Marie Rammler in 1742 in Pennsylvania (records in 3 different counties). Three of their sons, John, Philip and Henry later migrated to Wythe County, Virginia in 1780. [1]He deeded 82 acres to the Calvinist Congregation to build a church known as Hill Church.
