Communication Preferences:
I am interested in communicating with
anyone who shares the same ancestors.
Here is my family tree.
We are trying to expand our privately maintained (Rucker-Stauffer) family trees using an offline genealogy program which is then used to load our semi-private site at https://GrumpyGramps.Rocks. Registration requests to view that site content will be approved for anyone demonstrating linkages into our tree - e.g. cousins, DNA, etc.
The biography for Ken Rucker is empty. What can you add?
Sources
First-hand information. Entered by Ken Rucker at registration.
Only the Trusted List can access the following:
Ken's formal name
e-mail address
For access to Ken Rucker's full information you must be on Ken's Trusted List. Please login.
DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships.
It is likely that these
autosomal DNA

Thanks for the welcome, Sheryl. It's great to see an open source effort for this. My GED is being processed now and given the open source promise of this site I will do my best to pass along updates. If there any automated way to add my photos to the tree display here?
At the top of this page, you see SURNAME entered. Click the magnifying glass, and you get a list of all SURNAME profiles on WikITree, and you can sort alphabetically or by birth or death dates to see if family members are already on WikiTree.
It sounds like you uploaded a gedcom for the GEDCOMpare process. This page lists gedcom links for more information: Gedcom Topics.
Nothing is automated on WikiTree; the gedcom doesn't load profiles, and images you need to be entered after profiles are created. Be sure to check, and if profiles for family members or ancestors are already on WIkiTree, you don't add them - WIkiTree is a one-world tree (one profile per person) ,and we share it by connecting to that.
About images, you can see topics here: Images Topics.
I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
Thanks for the clarification. I guess I just need to blow some time exploring further. I thought that when I uploaded the GED file, the tree view would have been populated so I could navigate the branches from there. Is that incorrect?
Yes, that is incorrect; you will go through the report and see if profiles are already on WikiTree and have the option to add those that aren't and you can come back later to clean up gedcom junk.
Check the Gedcom Topics link in my last comment and look first at GEDCOMpare, then the gedcom import.
Thank you for signing the WikiTree Honor Code; we appreciate it! We're happy to have you as a new Wiki Genealogist.

I suggest a small gedcom to begin with.
