Biography
Frederick was born in 1837.[1] He was the son of Edward Miles and Eliza Nevers[2].
He married Mary Bent on Dec 30, 1863.[3]
Frederick passed away in 1898 and is interred at the Burton Courthouse Cemetery in Burton, New Brunswick.[1].

- Mary Bent may have been the child of Lawrence Bent, a shoemaker who lived next door to the Miles family in 1851 and who had a daughter named Mary (13) who was the same age as Frederick.[2]

Miles-8169 and Miles-8887 appear to represent the same person because: Hi Matthew, My name is Randy Dutcher and Elijah Miles is my 5th great grand father. I am new to this site and there is definitely a learning curve. I am certain we are dealing with the same Frederick W Miles(the farmer not the preacher) I seem to have made a duplicate profile for Frederick (the farmer) and I propose a merge. I do apologize while I learn my way around the site. I live in Fredericton NB and grew up in Maugerville. I recently visited the graves of Frederick W Miles and his wife Mary E Bent in Burton NB and can verify the spelling and dates on the headstone.
