Bonnie was born in 1934. She was the daughter of Ossie McWhorter and Emma Staffey. She passed away in 1979.

- She married Thomas Jefferson Lynn on 11 July 1950 in Muskingum, Ohio. Their children were Raymond Arthur McWhorter (1950–1996), Ronald Newton Lynn (1952– ), Donna Jo Lynn (1957– ) and Rozetta C. Lynn (1959– ).
