Bessie (McEvoy) McCoy is Notable.

Elizabeth was born on 17 May 1888, ^[1] a daughter of Lawrence McEvoy (or McAvoy). ^[2] According to a tribute in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle after her death, her mother was Minnie McEvoy, and her stepfather was Billy McCoy. ^[3]

On 8 July 1912, she married the author Richard Harding Davis, who died in 1916. ^[4][2][5]

She passed away in 1931.
