The Ziegfeld Follies were lavish Broadway productions that occurred from 1907 to 1931, as well as in 1934 and 1936. Many famous performers of the era participated in the upscale vaudeville and variety shows, and the Follies were also known for their flamboyant chorus line, known as the Ziegfeld Girls.
