Melick-158 and Malick-74 do not represent the same person because: These two men were conflated in Andrew Mellick's Story of an Old Farm but are actually two separate individuals. See Conflation of John Melick of Ohio and John Malick of West Virginia for more details. Wife Mary Todd and father Phillip Melick belong to John Malick (1762-1844) while wife Eleanor and residence/children in Ohio belong to John Melick Sr (1753-1834).
