Jean (John) Lamoreaux was born to Daniel and Jeanne (Massee) Lamoreaux on December 31, 1723 in New York. He died in Orange County New York in 1809.[1] He was the grandson of Huguenot Emigrant Andre Lamoreux and Suzanne LaTour.
Jean (John) lived in Monroe, Orange County, New York. He died there in 1809. [2]
There is a reported indenture between Thomas Davenport and Charity Lamoree (a variant on the name Lamoreaux) date 29 July 1752 for a parcel of land in Orange County, New York in Goshen precinct. The land adjoined Oliver Davenport's; he was Charity's brother.[1]
He married Charity Davenport, daughter of Thomas Davenport of Cold Springs, New York in 1745.[3]
