• Source: Susan Bittner Mee "Images of America: Rush" 2014 [1] cites a number of sources and the following at page 12: "Capt. Nathan Jeffords Sr. (1755-1819) was the father of Rebecca Jefferds Price. Captain Jefferds, veteran of the American Revolution, arrived in the spring of 1806 from Richfield Springs. Along with his family, he brought five hired men, four horses, and three cows. Nathan was married to Rebecca Sherwood Jefferds (1762-1801)."
