This is documented on on the St Marylebone Parish Register the baptism record for Louisa who was baptised at the age of 1 month on 7th May 1815. Lydia was unmarried at the time of her daughter's birth, and the father of Louisa Louisa is recorded as being John King[1]
Resource Notes
Death There is a record of a Lydia Holloway aged 44 being buried in the parish of St John the Evangelist in the County of Middlesex in 1820. [2] This would place Lydia's year of birth as 1776.
Will The Will of Lydia Holloway who died in 1820 (above) shows her residence to have been: Rochester Row Estaill Fields Westminster, Middlesex, England [3] The will is quite hard to decipher but seems to indicate that Lydia was a widow, and it cites her brother as being Charles Povey, also of Rochester Row, Westminster, Middlesex, England. This leads to the conclusion that the Lydia Holloway born in 1776 must have been somebody else.
