Augustus Grant, born 24 Aug 1767 at Vernon, Connecticut, was the fifth child of Lorana Strong & Ozias Grant.

He married 12 May 1797 Asenath Fuller [b. 2 Nov 1778 @ E. Haddam, Connecticut, daughter of Capt. Jehiel Fuller & Sarah Day; d. 14 Oct 1849 @ Vernon, Connecticut]. They had 6 children:
