This Mary Grant was born 2 Mar 1771 @ North Stonington, Connecticut. She was the seventh child of Sarah (Breed) & Joshua Grant.

She married Edward Holmes, son of Joshua; the marriage date listed in both Wheeler (1900) and The Grant Family (1898), 15 Feb 1789, is probable; the 1817 date in the Breed Family Association references as her marriage date is a typographical error; it is the year of her death. They had 8 children during the timespan through April 1811, all at Stonington or North Stonington:
