Communication Preferences:
I am interested in communicating with
anyone who shares the same ancestors.
Here is my family tree.
Trying to fill in the blanks and correct mistakes that I and others have made. My father was paternally Clan Colquhoun, ydna E-M35 per a FTDNA test my nephew took. I'm also trying to figure out my Calhoun line beyond my great great grandfather William. Rumor is his father was a James Calhoun, but I've never found any proof of that.

Thanks for having a Big Heart and adopting Orphan Profiles. You will want to read this After adopting orphans FAQ to understand what to do next and it explains the special attention those profiles need.
To find out if someone is related to you, you can either go here: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Relationship/ and type in the profile number of the person you want to know if you are related to. That is the quick answer.
The long answer is click on Family Tree and Tools (if public) tab, then scroll down to "Relationship to Me Find Relation". Click on that and it will come up with your profile number and the profile number of the person that you were looking at.
You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

I am willing to contribute. I'm a bit lost at the moment, but hopefully will figure this out. I of course have walls that need to be broken down. I would love to find the family of my paternal grandmother whom I've never found much about beyond her name.
