In 1850, Harriet M. Angier was living at Alstead, New Hampshire, with the family of her brother Silas Angier.[2]
Harriet Angier married Sylvanus B. Titus on 7 Sep 1858.[1] In 1870, Sylvanus Titus, 60, painter, and Harriet M. Titus, 38, were living at Keene, New Hampshire.[3] Sylvanus Titus died at Keene on 11 Oct 1873.[4]
After more than a quarter-century as a widow, Harriet (Angier) Titus, 67, seamstress of Keene, New Hampshire, married the widower Moses Smith, 66, real estate agent of Loup City, Nebraska,at Westminster, Vermont, on 28 Aug 1899.[5][6]
In 1900, Moses H. Smith, born in March 1834, retired farmer, was living at Loup City, Nebraska, with Harriette M. Smith, born in August 1839, both born in New Hampshire. The census says they had been married for nine months and that Harriette was the mother of no children.[7]
Moses Smith died at Loup City, Nebraska, on 17 Mar 1902, widowing Harriet for the second time.[8]
Harriet (Angier) (Titus) Smith died from uremia at Keene, New Hampshire, on 10 Sep 1907, with her age at her death recorded as 76 years, 9 days.[9] Her gravestone at the Woodland Cemetery in Keene says that she died on 10 Sep 1907 at the age of 76 years, 9 months.[10]
