Daniel Alden was born on the 5th of September 1720, in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.^[1] He was the third child, of the ten born to Daniel B Alden and Abigail (Shaw) Alden. Daniel married Jane Turner on the 6th of January 1746, in Bridgewater.^[2] He was twenty-five years old. Their first child, Sarah, was born in 1748, in Stafford Township, Connecticut.^[3]

During the American Revolution, Daniel showed his patriotism by serving as a Deputy, and a Justice of the Peace, in Stafford, Connecticut.^[4]

Daniel lived to the age of sixty-nine, taking his last breath on the 18th of May 1790. He was living in West Lebanon, New Hampshire at that time.^[2][5] Daniel was laid to rest in the Old Pine Tree Cemetery, in West Lebanon.^[6]

He married Jane Turner on January 5, 1746, in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. They had two children during their marriage. He died on May 18, 1790, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, at the age of 69, and was buried in West Lebanon, New Hampshire.
