Corporal Asa Albee served with 6th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

From Albee Smith's application: "Asa Albee was a Corporal of the second company of minute men in the town of Mendon Mass. Early in 1775 and (???) on the Lexington Alarm and served one year and eight months as a Private in Capt. Samuel Warrens Company of Col. Joseph Reeds Regiment Mass. Militia and Continental Line, taking part in the siege of Boston. He, afterwards in June of 1778 enlisted and served nine months as private in Capt. Daniels Company in Col. Moses (???) Mass. Sixth Continental (???) and was in 1818 granted a pension for his service. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
