Need help with confirmation on a marriage record

I am working on John McWhorter1420   I found a Virgina marriage for him on ancestry and have pasted it as with a reference.   I am wondering if the wife's name wasn't mis-transcribed.   Heading to family search to look.

Both John McWhorter and Mary McCorkle's LNAB's were mis transcribed in Annie Walker Burns "Augusta County Virginia Marriages" and she names Mary's father as John when in fact her fathers will was proved February 16, 1789. It was her brother John who gave permission for the marriage.
