Hello, I research the family of Roger of Salisbury (le Poer) in early Norman England. I have seen the epitaph at Salisbury Cathedral for Edward Poore and believe the statement about Philip being a brother to Bishop Richard Poore to be false. I see Philip mentioned in Debretts as being the first lord of Amesbury which I also believe to be false. The correction would place Patrick of Salisbury as the first Earl of Salisbury and sheriff. I have not found anything for Humphrey being a brother to Roger of Salisbury, but I think that might be Ada’s husband, a daughter of Rogers, and also a Bohun.
