Why do the profiles I've written not appear in paragraphs as I have typed them?

Question

I have typed the profiles in paragraphs and saved them, but they appear on the person's profile page as one big paragraph.

Comments

If you need to create a single line break, enter <br> at the end of the line.

Two line breaks (clicking Enter/Return twice) creates a new paragraph.

Thank you. I was typing single space and trying to indent. If the WT format is to not indent but double space between paragraphs, that's what I'll do.

If you are copying and pasting from something like Word the formatting does not come with it.  You need to insert a blank line after each paragraph to separate them.   Here's a link to a page with some tips on WikiMarkup which Wikitree uses: Help:Editing Tips (wikitree.com)
