I think we would need some first names, birth dates, locations and any other information you might be able to share to start locating your family.
William W. Harvey was born in Barnwell District, South Carolina, about 1789. He married Sarah Harvey about 1830. They had eight children: George Medicus Harvey (my great grandfather), William B. Harvey, Washington H. Harvey, Eveline Green, Teresa Elizabeth Harvey Harter, Rebecca Harvey Harrison, Nancy Ann Harvey Cope, and Isabelle Harvey Russell.

He bought Jehu Harvey's property in 1839. His wife, Sarah, sold part of the property to George Martin Hartwe. Mr. Harter later it to his first wife, Teresa Elizabeth Harvey Harter.

The 1870 US Census shows William being 81 years old and living in Windsor, Barnwell County, South Carolina. That is the last information I have been able to find.

Any help will be appreciated.

I am another Jim Harvey, living in Massachusetts where several of my lines come from - Watertown, Taunton, Groton, Stockbridge.  I also have ancestors who lived in New Hampshire, Ohio, Shefford county, Quebec, Canada and Chicago, Ill.  Lines  - Peter, Skinner, Lawrence, as well as Harvey, of course.
