Mary Warren[1][2][3][4] was born in England about 1610. She was the daughter of Richard Warren and Elizabeth Walker. Mary died at Plymouth 27 Mar 1683, aged 73 years.[5] Mary Warren married Robert Bartlett after 22 May 1627, when the "Division of Cattle" occurred, possibly in 1629.[5][6]
Immigration
Richard Warren sailed on the Mayflower in 1620, leaving behind his wife and family, and arrived from England at what would become the New Plymouth Colony[7][3] on 26 December 1620.[8] Richard then had his wife and children come over to him, and they arrived on the Anne at Plymouth in the summer of 1623.[9] Another passenger on the Anne was Robert Bartlett, Mary's future husband.[9][5]
Marriage and Children
Mary and Robert had not yet married by May, 1627, when the "Division of cattle" occurred.[5][10]
Mary married in 1628 at Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts, according to Savage.[2] Anderson believes they married "say" 1629 (based on the estimated ages of children at their marriages).[5][1]
Robert Bartlett died in 1676,[5] leaving Mary a widow. All the children were married by that time.
Death and Legacy
Mary died on 27 March 1683 at Plymouth, Massachusetts in her 73rd year.[5]
