Lewis was born in 1920. He was the son of Harold Stern and Nita Moyse. He passed away in 1993.
Served in World War II in the Army Air Forces. On 30 Nov 1944 he was a Technical Sergeant and had returned from overseas service decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters.[1]
