Biography
Robert Leclerc was born on 12 Apr 1859 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish in L'Islet, Canada East. He was the son of Lucien Napoléon Leclerc, farmer, and Marie Léocadie Chouinard of this parish. Sponsors for Robert's baptism were Jacob Gagniere (?) and Sarah Gagniere (?); neither sponsor signed the register.
