Born about 1802 according to family papers. Died in Shelby County, Texas in 1844 as part of the Regulator Moderator War.^[1], ^[2]

Accused of paying $600 for the killing of Henry Reynolds.^[3]

Republic of Texas Land Grant in Shelby County, Texas in 1838 for 1280 acres.^[4]

They got him as he was plowing by hiding near the fence and shooting him as he turned his plow at the furrow`s end.
