Biography
Robert Wilson died young.
Robert Stewart Wilson was born 17th June, 1859, at Crail, Fife, Scotland, the son of James Wilson and Magdalene Taylor. [1]
1861 census, Scotland Marketgate, Crail Burgh, Fife. Robert is a year old, born Crail, Fifeshire. His father, James Wilson, is a 31-year-old Agricultural labourer, born Anstruther Wester, Fifeshire. Robert's mother, Magdalene, 32, was born in Crail as were his two siblings: Eliza M. Wilson (3) and Ann S. Wilson (less than a month old). [2]
Death. Robert died in 1864 and interred in the Crail Church Cemetery with his parents. Their headstone sits by the main path from the gate to the church. It reads: [3]
