Note: cert reads: Margaret Soutar, widow of David, master bootmaker, died at 1:40pm aged 78 of ?chololelithenosis?, usu. resid. Chestney House, St Andrews, d/o Walter Wight, farmer, and Helen m.s. Sinton, both dec. Inf. son C W Soutar, present, of 58 Kenwood Rd, Stretford, Manchester. [2][3]

Also farm servant Thomas Hogg, unm, 58 b Stitchell. Neighbours were David & Mary Archibald in Maxton West End Old Farm House and George and Mary Learmond in a Cottage In Maxton Village.[13]
