Biography

Caleb Ward was the son of Josiah Ward and Molly Trott Wiswall. He spent his childhood in Buckland, Massachusetts. He married Nancy Ann Rice in 1794.^[1] Their children were:

Livsey’s Western New York Land Transactions ^[2] indicate that Caleb Ward renewed an article on part of lot 61 in the town of Charlotte 2 April 1819. They lived in Gerry, Chautauqua County, New York. ^[3] Caleb died in 1840 and is buried in Spring Cemetery, Springboro, Crawford, Pennsylvania. ^[4]
